Generic vs. Hand-Poured

The case for poured.

Shop Poured Silver
Premium You pay for the hand, not the metal.

A minted bar costs spot plus a machine’s margin. A poured bar costs spot plus an afternoon. The silver content is identical; what you are buying above spot is one person’s time, and it shows on the surface.

Scarcity Runs end in dozens, not millions.

Most pours here come from batches of five to fifty. When a run sells out it generally stays sold out — the artist has moved on to the next mould. That is the whole reason the secondary market for poured silver exists.

Craft No two cool the same way.

Ripple, skin, orange peel, cracked earth — the pattern is a record of temperature and timing. Two bars from the same mould on the same night will not match. If you want matched, buy minted; we sell that too.

Meet the Pourers

Every poured piece here is bought direct from the person who made it. No middlemen, no mystery inventory.

Mike B.

Pours in small batches out of a two-car garage — mostly beach and tiki motifs with deliberately rough edges. Each bar is weighed, stamped and photographed individually, so the bar in the listing is the bar that ships.

We buy direct, usually 20–40 pieces at a time, which is why sizes sell out and come back.

“Ordered four kilo bars on a Tuesday, had them Friday, packed like a bank. No drama.”

Dave R. · Stacker

“Finally somewhere that lists the artist by name. I bought the exact bar in the photo.”

Priya S. · Poured collector

“Emailed a question at 9pm about a figural pour and got a real answer, not a script.”
